The High Strength Wheel Kit
Our High Strength Wheel Kit offers 3M™ quality Scotch-Brite™ High – Strength non woven product. Often imitated, the High Strength product gives a consistent finish, while providing durable life and value. The kit is made up of 4 – 75mm Medium, 4 – 75mm Fine, 4 – 50mm Medium and 4 – 50mm Fine discs, along with a mandrel with a 1/4″ shaft, to secure them to the tool of you choice.
The Medium grade discs will remove small amounts of metal, making them ideal for blending out blemishes on alloy or magnesium alloy surfaces. Once you have the surface where you want it, you can use the fine grade discs to produce an even brushed finish. The discs are also great for cleaning and restoring cast sections on material, like engine cases and cylinders etc. We recommend running the discs on a drill or low speed hi torque die grinder or similar variable speed tool….ideally and rpm range of 3000 – 6000 rpm will give you the best finish and life when using the products
